Elena Ezhkova

Elena Ezhkova is an Associate Professor in the Department of Cell, Developmental, and Regenerative Biology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (NY, USA). Dr. Ezhkova received extensive training in the field of skin biology as a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Elaine Fuchs, a world leader in the study of skin stem cells. Upon starting her laboratory at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2011, Dr. Ezhkova focused her studies on understanding the role of transcriptional and chromatin regulators in control of epithelial tissues during development, homeostasis, aging, and cancer.
